A pharmacist opportunity is available at a 100-bed community hospital located on the Kentucky/Ohio border. This position offers an engaging role supporting inpatient care through order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with medical staff, and managing pharmacokinetics.

Location:

• Flemingsburg, KY area (hospital located near KY/OH border)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily tasks
• Consult with physicians and nurses on medication therapies and clinical pharmacology
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring as required

Qualifications:

• Active Kentucky pharmacist license required
• Ability to start quickly, ideally within 7 to 10 days from offer
• Strong communication and clinical skills for interdisciplinary collaboration

Contract Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
