Travel Pharmacist | Florence, Kentucky

A digital/mail order pharmacy is seeking two skilled pharmacists to support a significant increase in prescription volume due to a new client partnership. This travel position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy environment dispensing primarily generic medications, along with select brand and specialty drugs. The pharmacy serves customers nationwide across all 50 states and DC.

Location: Florence, KY (pharmacists licensed in Cincinnati, OH area and holding KY license are encouraged to apply)
Job Type: Travel
Shift Options:

• Three 12-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
• Five 8-hour shifts (2:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
  Duration: Approximately 3 to 6 months (up to 26 weeks)
  Schedule: Monday through Friday, with operations running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Flexibility to cover opening and closing shifts is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment, including accuracy checks and verification of prescriptions
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Adapt quickly to changes in volume and operational demands while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Contribute effectively as part of a team to manage increased prescription loads

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active Kentucky pharmacist license (Cincinnati, OH pharmacists with KY licensure encouraged to apply)
• Strong background in high-volume retail pharmacy settings is highly preferred
• Excellent adaptability and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced, digital/mail order pharmacy environment
