Travel Pharmacist - Florence, KY

A digital/mail order pharmacy requires experienced pharmacists to support a surge in prescription volume due to a new client partnership. This travel assignment offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dispensing primarily generic medications, along with some brand and specialty drugs, to customers nationwide.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment duties, including verification and checking of prescriptions.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
• Adapt quickly to workflow changes and increased volume with flexibility in shift assignments.
• Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to maintain a high standard of service.

Shift Options:

• 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts)
• 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. (5 shifts per week, 8-hour shifts)
• Monday through Friday, aligning with operational hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Flexibility required to cover opening or closing shifts as needed.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with an active Kentucky license (Pharmacists licensed in Cincinnati, OH, encouraged to apply if KY license is held).
• Proven experience in high-volume retail pharmacy environments highly preferred.
• Strong ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Team-oriented approach and adaptability to fast-changing workflows.

• Florence, Kentucky (Candidates within commuting distance or willing to relocate/travel for assignment).
