Pharmacist in Flushing, NY

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist in Bronx, NY, offering a contract-to-hire arrangement. This role supports a busy location processing approximately 200 prescriptions daily with a dedicated team including three technicians, one delivery person, and a store manager.

Work Schedule:

• 4x10 schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
• 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• No weekend shifts

Responsibilities:

• Accurately checking and verifying prescriptions
• Collaborating with pharmacy support staff to ensure efficient workflow
• Providing excellent patient service while handling prescription processing
• No vaccine administration required

Qualifications:

• Active and clear New York State Pharmacist License
• Local candidates preferred
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Prior retail pharmacy experience is advantageous
• Familiarity with BestRx system preferred, but training will be provided
