Per Diem Pharmacist | Flushing, New York

A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available to support an independent retail pharmacy in Hempstead, NY. This role offers coverage for three scheduled days (October 1st, 2nd, and 5th) with shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Punctuality and commitment to support smooth shift transitions are essential.

Location: Hempstead, NY
Schedule:

• October 1, 2, and 5
• 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Arrive by 10:45 AM and stay until 7:15 PM for handoff and closing

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all standard independent retail pharmacy duties
• Manage an average of approximately 300 prescriptions per week
• Collaborate closely with an experienced bilingual (Spanish-speaking) pharmacy technician and receive operational support from management
• Ensure smooth workflow with timely communications during shift handoffs

Desired Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License
• Active NPI Number
• Immunization certification preferred
• Community or retail pharmacy experience required
• PioneerRx software experience strongly preferred
• Spanish fluency is a plus but not mandatory, as bilingual technician support is provided
