Per Diem Pharmacist - Flushing, New York

This opportunity invites a skilled pharmacist to provide essential support on a per diem basis at a pharmacy located in Bronx, NY. The initial shift begins Thursday, October 9, with ongoing as-needed coverage primarily starting in November. This role operates during weekday daytime hours with no night or weekend shifts, creating a balanced schedule within a professional pharmacy environment.

Location:

• Bronx, NY

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• No nights or weekends
• Closed most federal holidays
• Per diem, as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver education and support to patients regarding their medications
• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Supervise and manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, as applicable
• Promote patient safety and uphold professional pharmacy practices
• Identify and address knowledge gaps through targeted training and education

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist license
• Experience in a pharmacy setting preferred but all levels of experience will be considered
