Per Diem Pharmacist | Flushing, New York

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to provide exceptional medication dispensing and patient care in a busy community setting. This per diem position involves day shifts with an established schedule and offers the chance to work flexible dates starting in early October.

Location:

• Flushing, NY (retail pharmacy environment)

Schedule:

• Day shifts, 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Dates include October 1, 2, 5, and ongoing availability required

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on medication usage
• Perform order entry using PioneerRx software
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service
• Support immunization services, following certification guidelines if applicable

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid, unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License
• Proven experience in community or retail pharmacy settings is required
• Proficiency with PioneerRx strongly preferred
• Immunization certification is a plus
• Spanish fluency is advantageous but not mandatory, as translation support is available
