A Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital in Forest, VA, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support its pharmacy services. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a small, focused healthcare setting with a patient census of approximately 10 per day.

Location: Forest, VA
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks+), ASAP start
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shift

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently for LTAC patients
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective pharmacotherapy
• Monitor patient medication regimens and provide clinical support to optimize outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Manage medication inventory and documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Pharmacist license required
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety, and patient care protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently in a smaller hospital environment
