Pharmacist in Forks, WA

An immediate opening is available for a Pharmacist to support a tribal clinic located within a health center. This role involves active collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive pharmacy services and enhance patient care.

Location: Forks, Washington
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks +, potential to convert to temp-to-hire)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verifying, filling, and checking prescriptions accurately
• Counseling patients on medication usage and safety
• Collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff for optimal treatment outcomes
• Utilizing a unique pharmacy IT system (MD Scripts); on-site training provided

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacy license from any state
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients and healthcare providers
• Experience working in a tribal healthcare environment is preferred but not required
