Pharmacist - Fort Bragg, California

A contracted travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Fort Bragg, CA, offering a 26-week assignment with an ASAP start. This role supports a hospital environment with a 4-days-per-week schedule of 10-hour day shifts. The position provides valuable experience in a busy clinical setting, including potential exposure to chemotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily workflow
• Collaborate and consult with nursing staff and physicians for optimal patient care
• Participate in medication management during the hospital’s transition to EPIC electronic health records
• Utilize systems such as Cerner and Omnicell for pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with chemotherapy protocols is a strong plus
• Competent in or willing to learn Cerner and EPIC software systems
• Full-time availability for the assignment duration

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week
