Pharmacist | Fort Lauderdale, Florida

A children’s hospital located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale is seeking two inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting 8/25. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with pediatric and NICU experience looking to apply their skills in a specialized hospital setting.

Schedule Options:

• Day Shift: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM, rotating weekends (5 x 8-hour shifts)
• Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:15 AM, rotating weekends (5 x 8-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage typical inpatient pharmacy duties with a strong focus on pediatric dosing
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for medication order processing and documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy for pediatric patients
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Florida pharmacist license in good standing
• Prior experience in pediatric pharmacy, preferably including NICU exposure, reflected clearly on resume
• Strong attention to detail and excellent clinical judgment in pediatric medication management
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system or similar electronic prescribing systems
