Per Diem Pharmacist - Fort Lauderdale, FL

A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated pharmacist with experience in retail or specialty HIV/AIDS medication dispensing. This per diem position offers a meaningful role supporting a sensitive patient population, providing compassionate care in a respectful and empathetic environment.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• No weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense HIV/AIDS medications with accuracy and adherence to protocols
• Build trust and maintain a non-judgmental, respectful relationship with patients living with infectious diseases
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
• Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by anticipating and addressing workflow needs proactively
• Work collaboratively within a team to foster a positive and supportive environment
• Maintain punctuality and reliability, ensuring consistent daily presence

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in retail or specialty pharmacy focusing on HIV/AIDS medication dispensing
• Sensitive and empathetic approach to caring for the HIV/AIDS patient population
• Proficiency and comfort with QS1 pharmacy software
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and team members
• Demonstrated high level of patient care and commitment to confidentiality
