Pharmacist - Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri

This role provides critical pharmacy support in a hospital setting with 250 beds, utilizing EPIC and Omnicell systems. The position requires a professional pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring safe and effective medication use.

Location:

• Rolla, MO

Schedule:

• 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• 7 days on, 7 days off (Monday to Sunday rotation)

Duration:

• 13 weeks, with potential to transition from temporary to permanent status

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians
• Participate in pharmacokinetic evaluations to optimize patient therapy
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication management
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Desired Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist licensure in the relevant state
• Experience working with EPIC and Omnicell pharmacy systems
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy practices
• Ability to lead technical staff and manage workflow effectively
