A pharmacy professional role is available to support a closed-door HIV/AIDS specialty mail order pharmacy serving patients with critical medication needs. The position is contract to hire with immediate start and spans approximately 13 weeks initially. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This busy mail order site employs over 45 staff dedicated to ensuring timely delivery of medications to patients. The pharmacist’s primary responsibilities include prescription verification and communication with healthcare providers and patients to ensure the highest level of medication safety and patient support.

Key Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Licensed pharmacist with an active Florida pharmacy license
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail pharmacy setting
  • Experience or familiarity with dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is mandatory and must be clearly indicated on the resume
  • Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software is preferred—please confirm experience
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills with both patients and healthcare providers
  • Dependable with punctual attendance and a positive, patient-centered attitude
