A contract to hire opportunity is available for a Pharmacist at a closed-door HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy in Fort Myers, FL. This role primarily involves prescription verification and clear communication with both providers and patients, supporting a dedicated team of 45+ employees focused on ensuring timely medication delivery.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain strong communication with healthcare providers regarding patient care.
  • Provide exceptional support and consultation to patients.
  • Uphold a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and commitment.
  • Collaborate effectively within the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Florida pharmacist license.
  • At least one year of retail pharmacy experience.
  • HIV/AIDS medication dispensing experience is essential and must be clearly noted on the resume.
  • Proficiency or experience with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with both patients and healthcare providers.
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to regular and punctual attendance.
