Pharmacist - Fort Myers, FL

A unique opportunity is available for a pharmacist to join a closed-door HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy that serves patients through mail order. This role is based in Fort Myers, FL, operating primarily within a vibrant facility staffed by over 45 employees dedicated to efficient medication delivery.

This position is contract to hire, with an immediate start and an initial duration of 13 weeks. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety and compliance
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to clarify and resolve prescription issues
• Provide high-level patient care through clear and compassionate communication
• Support the pharmacy team in delivering medications, focusing on HIV/AIDS specialty treatments

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Florida
• Minimum of one year experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Experience with dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is required and must be clearly indicated on the resume
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software preferred
• Strong commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills for patient and provider communication
