Job Type: Contract (1 year with possible 4 one-year extensions)

Schedule/Hours:

  • To be discussed upon hiring; flexibility may be required

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and counsel patients regarding their proper use
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust prescriptions as necessary
  • Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Participate in diabetes-focused health education initiatives and clinics

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active pharmacist license valid in any U.S. state
  • Experience in pharmacy practice, preferably with exposure to diabetes-related care
  • Strong knowledge of medication therapy management and patient counseling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
