A per diem Pharmacist opportunity is available in the retail and long-term care pharmacy setting in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations by accurately verifying prescriptions and providing immunization services in a fast-paced environment. Ample technician and register support will be available to assist with daily workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and process 150-200 prescriptions per day, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Administer immunizations in accordance with certification and protocols
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain efficient workflow
- Uphold exceptional customer service and patient safety at all times
Schedule:
- June 13th: 7:45 AM – 6:15 PM
- June 18th: 2:00 PM – 7:15 PM
- June 19th: 2:00 PM – 7:15 PM
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active Texas Pharmacist (RPh) license
- Immunization certification required
- Proven experience in retail pharmacy settings
- Familiarity with Computer Rx pharmacy system preferred
