A pharmacy role is available on a contract basis in Franklin, TN, offering a focused opportunity in a mail order renal specialty pharmacy setting. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, encompassing 40 hours weekly. The engagement is for 13 weeks with potential for contract-to-hire transition, with an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties, which include final verification processes.
• Verify correct medication placement in bottles or boxes ensuring accuracy.
• Confirm that directions and prescription information are consistent with the hard copy.
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system effectively.
• Maintain accuracy and compliance in a high-volume environment averaging 1000 prescriptions filled per day.
• No on-call responsibilities required.

Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in pharmacy verification processes.
• Familiarity with mail order or specialty pharmacy practice is advantageous.
• Proficient with pharmacy software systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
