Pharmacist in Franklin, TN

This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to join an independent pharmacy focused on delivering personalized, fast, and friendly service with expert advice. The pharmacy’s mission centers on patient health and wellness, emphasizing individualized care through compounding, medication management, and delivery services. Location: Franklin, TN
Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 10 AM–6 PM (32-40 hours/week)
• Possibly every other Saturday, 9 AM–3 PM (Saturday coverage may vary)

This 13-week contract position is available immediately and offers the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in compliance with all laws and regulations
• Provide expert counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication therapy, side effects, interactions, and usage
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and ensure safe medication management
• Maintain precise patient records, verify prescriptions for dosage appropriateness, and assess for drug interactions
• Lead by example to uphold pharmacy values, support the team, and promote a positive work environment
• Stay updated on industry best practices, adapting to changes in protocols and technology

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required
• Familiarity with PioneerRX software is preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service orientation
