Pharmacist in Franklin, TN

An independent pharmacy is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to provide personalized, expert care that places patients’ health and wellness at the forefront. This role supports a mission centered on fast, friendly service and tailored healthcare solutions, including compounding, medication management, and delivery services. Location:
Franklin, TN (address for onsite interview: 1406 McGavock Pk STE A, Nashville, TN 37216)

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 10 AM – 6:00 PM (32-40 hours)
• Possible every-other-Saturday coverage: 9 AM – 3 PM (subject to confirmation)

Contract Type:
13-week contract with the possibility of conversion to permanent placement. Start ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide comprehensive counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions to patients and caregivers
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient records, verifying dosages and drug interactions
• Lead by example to foster a collaborative, positive team environment
• Stay informed on industry updates, protocols, and technologies to deliver best-in-class care

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required
• Experience or familiarity with PioneerRX software preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and patient care
