Pharmacist | Franklin, Tennessee

A contract opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists to support a high-volume renal specialty pharmacy located in Franklin, TN. This role involves working second and late shifts in a fast-paced mail order setting that handles approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily.

Shift Options:

• Two openings for 2nd shift: 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• One opening for a 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions including final medication verification, ensuring accuracy of medication, prescription information, and directions against hard copy orders
• Work within the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system; no automation utilized
• Maintain accuracy and compliance with pharmacy standards in a mail order renal specialty pharmacy setting
• No on-call responsibilities required

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a high-volume pharmacy environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in final verifications
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a dedicated team
• Open to a temp-only role with flexibility as temp-to-hire cannot be guaranteed
• Ready for an ASAP start
