Pharmacist - Franklin, Tennessee

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist with 2-3 years of high-volume experience to support a busy mail order and renal specialty pharmacy. This contract role is based in Franklin, TN, with an ASAP start and a duration of 13 weeks or longer. The pharmacy fills approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily, operating without automation but utilizing the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions
• Conduct final verification processes ensuring accuracy of medication in bottles or boxes
• Verify prescription directions and information against hard copy prescriptions
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Collaborate efficiently with the pharmacy team to support workflow

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with mail order or specialty pharmacy practices preferred
• Strong knowledge of dispensing and verification processes
