A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available in Galena, Illinois, for coverage on select dates in August and September. This role offers the chance to provide essential pharmacy services on a flexible basis, covering the first shift from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately under the supervision of the pharmacy manager.
• Counsel patients on medication use, safety, and adherence to prescribed regimens.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns attentively, following organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate stock records, including controlled substances and inventories.
• Resolve patient issues and clarify insurance or third-party coverage matters efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in Illinois.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, preferably Pioneer.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
