Pharmacist | Galion, Ohio

A healthcare organization in North/Central Ohio is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to provide skilled pharmacy services at one of two hospital locations. These facilities, located in or near Galion and Ontario, OH, serve communities between Cleveland and Columbus and utilize EPIC systems for clinical operations.

This is a 26-week contract position with a flexible shift schedule starting between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM. The pharmacist will be required to work every fourth weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations, including supervising pharmacy technicians and clean room workflow
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Utilize EPIC software to manage medication orders and documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Ohio pharmacist license in hand
• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience, preferably in hospital settings of similar size (25-40 beds)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to demonstrate kindness, responsibility, confidence, and teamwork in clinical practice

Location:

• Two hospital sites available: Galion, OH (25 beds) and Ontario, OH (40 beds)

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts starting between 6 AM and 9 AM
• Work every fourth weekend
