An opportunity is available for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support hospital operations in North/Central Ohio. The role offers flexibility in shift start times between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., with every fourth weekend on duty. The position is a 26-week contract with an immediate start, serving either a 25-bed facility in Galion or a 40-bed facility in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee typical inpatient pharmacy functions including medication dispensing and management.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure cleanroom protocol adherence.
  • Collaborate effectively with doctors and nursing teams to optimize patient care.
  • Utilize EPIC systems to maintain accurate patient and medication records.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio pharmacist license.
  • Proven experience in inpatient pharmacy settings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills consistent with values of kindness, responsibility, confidence, and collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Location:

  • Hospitals located in Galion and Ontario, Ohio, situated between Cleveland and Columbus.

Schedule:

  • Shifts start between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m.
  • Work every fourth weekend.
