Pharmacist in Galion, OH

A healthcare system in North/Central Ohio is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support patient care at one of two hospital locations. Both sites are equipped with EPIC and range from 25 to 40 beds, offering a supportive environment to practice pharmacy in acute care settings.

Work Schedule:

• Shifts start flexibly between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Work every 4th weekend
• Contract duration approximately 26 weeks, starting ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties including medication order verification and clinical interventions
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee clean room procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate closely with physician and nursing teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and support seamless medication distribution within the hospital

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Ohio pharmacist license in hand
• Proven experience in inpatient pharmacy practice
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
