Per Diem Pharmacist - Garland, TX

A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week assignment in Lewisville, Texas, working overnight shifts on Sundays from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. This role focuses on ensuring medication accuracy, compliance with pharmacy regulations, and providing leadership during the overnight shift.

Responsibilities:

• Perform final verification of medications to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Oversee the fulfillment process and ensure adherence to all pharmacy laws and protocols.
• Provide guidance and supervision to pharmacy technicians during the shift to maintain smooth operations.
• Monitor medication therapy and collaborate effectively with healthcare providers when necessary.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in good standing is required.
• Previous experience in long-term care or mail-order pharmacy settings is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage and support the pharmacy team.
