Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
- Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient medication therapy
- Utilize healthcare IT systems, including Cerner and Omnicell, for daily tasks
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Texas Pharmacist license is required
- Strong experience with IV admixture preparation
- At least 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy work experience
