A well-established 500-bed hospital is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a 13+ week contract position in York, PA. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care through thorough medication management and collaboration with medical staff.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Consult with physicians regarding medication therapies and adjustments
• Apply knowledge of pharmacokinetics to optimize patient dosing
• Utilize hospital systems including EPIC and Pyxis for effective workflow

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required
• Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong skills in order verification and medication management
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems is highly desirable
• Ability to work variable days and afternoon shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
