A Director of Pharmacy is needed to oversee pharmacy operations at two Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospitals in the greater Phoenix area. This leadership role requires a strong background in pharmacy management, regulatory compliance, and team oversight to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical services across both facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct all pharmacy services at two LTAC hospitals
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures
- Oversee medication safety, storage, and distribution processes
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy staff performance and development
- Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize medication therapy management
- Monitor pharmacy budgets and resource allocation
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist with current state licensure
- Previous experience as a Director of Pharmacy or equivalent leadership role
- Strong knowledge of LTAC hospital pharmacy operations and regulations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites effectively and foster collaborative environments
