Pharmacist - Glen Burnie, Maryland

A health center pharmacy is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to cover a pending leave of absence. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply your retail pharmacy skills in a fast-paced outpatient setting while contributing to patient care through counseling and immunizations.

Location:

• Yard 56 Pharmacy
• 5525 Eastern Avenue Ste. 104
• Baltimore, MD 21224

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays

Contract Duration:

• Starting June 22
• Approximately 2 to 3 months

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical outpatient pharmacy duties, including managing pharmacy technicians
• Counsel patients effectively on medications and health concerns
• Administer vaccines and immunizations
• Utilize pharmacy software (ScriptPro); training provided
• Support and collaborate with strong pharmacy technician team

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with 340B program is highly preferred
• Spanish-speaking candidates are a plus but not mandatory
