Pharmacist - Glen Burnie, Maryland

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Pharmacist to provide essential outpatient pharmacy services at a busy health center pharmacy. This role supports a full-time pharmacist coverage for a pending leave of absence and offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, well-supported environment with experienced pharmacy technicians.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays

Contract Duration:
Approximately 2 to 3 months, starting June 22

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily outpatient pharmacy operations and manage pharmacy technician workflow
• Counsel patients on medication use, safety, and adherence
• Administer vaccines and immunizations
• Maintain compliance with health center policies and federal regulations
• Utilize ScriptPro software (training provided) to process prescriptions efficiently
• Participate in 340B program activities (experience highly preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience or familiarity with 340B drug pricing program highly preferred
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not mandatory
