Per Diem Pharmacist | Glen Burnie, Maryland

A retail pharmacist role is available for per diem coverage on August 13 and August 18 in the Baltimore, Maryland area. This position offers the opportunity to support patient care by ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while working 1st shift hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The work will be conducted using Pioneer pharmacy software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately under the supervision of the pharmacy manager.
• Counsel and advise patients on proper medication use and regimens.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in compliance with organizational policies.
• Maintain stock levels, controlled drug records, and conduct regular inventory checks.
• Resolve patient-related issues and clarify insurance or third-party coverage matters.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license for the state of Maryland.
