Per Diem Pharmacist - Glendale, AZ

A dynamic opportunity is open for experienced pharmacists to support a well-established chain of 38 community pharmacies in the greater Phoenix, AZ area. This per diem role is designed for pharmacists seeking flexible part-time hours, ideally working 2-4 days per week to provide coverage during call-outs, vacations, and business volume surges. Expect a supportive environment with strong technician teams in each pharmacy and a daily prescription volume averaging 100-125.

Location: Glendale, AZ, with most stores commutable within the Phoenix metro area.

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday, typically 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Some locations may operate until 8:00 PM
• Shifts are variable; no guaranteed minimum hours but consistent opportunities to assist

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience, with preference for those having 5+ years
• Immunization certification and current BLS card required
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy system preferred
• Arizona pharmacist license without restrictions

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients
• Provide immunizations per scope of practice
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain high-quality patient care
• Participate in an 8-hour training program, with additional training available as needed
