Per Diem Pharmacist | Glendale, Arizona

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with retail experience seeking a per diem role in the Glendale, AZ area. The position requires availability Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, providing pharmacy support within a small, focused team using the Pioneer Rx system.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring thorough allergy checks before dispensing.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and in line with organizational policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Collaborate effectively with one pharmacist and three pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Manage a prescription volume of fewer than 100 scripts per day, enabling detailed patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Arizona.
• Minimum of 2 years recent pharmacy experience specifically in retail settings.
• Strong communication skills to engage with patients and team members.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx system preferred but not mandatory.

Schedule:

• Wednesday and Thursday
