Per Diem Pharmacist - Glendale, Arizona

This per diem position is ideal for experienced pharmacists looking to work flexible hours in a long-term care (LTC) setting. The role involves filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently, with a prescription volume ranging from 50 to 100 per day. The pharmacist will also take orders and ensure timely dispensing to support patient care.

Schedule:

• 4 to 5 hours per day
• Flexible start times between 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Location:

• Glendale, AZ

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions in compliance with regulations and company policies
• Manage prescription volumes of up to 100 per day
• Take and process medication orders from healthcare providers
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure patient safety throughout medication dispensing

Qualifications:

• AZ Pharmacist license required
• Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care environments
• Ability and willingness to fill prescriptions independently and efficiently
