Pharmacist | Glendale, Arizona

A pharmacy opportunity is available in Glendale, AZ, offering a contract role for an experienced pharmacist. This position focuses primarily on checking and verifying duties, supporting a busy pharmacy environment with a critical and evolving need for additional expertise. Location: Glendale, AZ (Soleo Tempe, AZ)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Potential on-call rotation may be required

Contract Duration: Approximately 8-12 weeks, starting ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough checking and verification of pharmacy orders
• Support infusion-related duties as needs evolve
• Utilize CareTend system for daily pharmacy operations
• Collaborate with the team to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Take on additional responsibilities as aptitude and experience allow

Qualifications:

• Current and active AZ pharmacist license in good standing
• Prior infusion experience preferred but not mandatory
• Experience with IV preparation and verification a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
• Proficient with pharmacy systems, particularly CareTend
