A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support its inpatient behavioral health unit in Council Bluffs, IA. This contract position begins May 18 and will continue until a permanent hire is placed. The schedule includes weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday, working 6 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting
- Utilize automated systems for drug repackaging and inventory management
- Perform drug loading in automated dispensing machines and run restock reports regularly
- Ensure medication safety and accuracy in dispensing
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Iowa Pharmacist license is required
- Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing system highly preferred
- Familiarity with repackaging medications using Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems
- Basic knowledge of automated machine operations and inventory restocking procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Shift/Hours:
- Saturday and Sunday, 6 hours per day
