This part-time retail pharmacist role supports a grocery store pharmacy located in Omaha, Nebraska, offering an ongoing contract assignment with a flexible two-week rotating schedule. The position provides the opportunity to deliver expert pharmaceutical care while ensuring compliance and high-quality patient service.

Schedule:

• Week 1: Sunday (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM), Tuesday (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Friday (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM) — Total 24 hours
• Week 2: Tuesday (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Saturday (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM) — Total 17 hours Schedule can be adjusted based on candidate availability and pharmacy needs.

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescription accuracy and ensure safe dispensing of medications
• Provide patient counseling and answer medication-related questions
• Oversee daily pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment

Qualifications:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in retail pharmacy preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Flexibility with schedule and availability for occasional adjustments
• Experience with McKesson Enterprise system preferred, but not required
