This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position at a psychiatric hospital setting located in Williamsburg, VA. This contract role requires a dedicated pharmacist to support inpatient hospital pharmacy operations, providing expert medication management and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing medication order entry and verification accurately and efficiently
• Using automated dispensing machines to streamline dispensing processes
• Communicating effectively with hospital administrators, physicians, and nursing staff to support patient care
• Covering Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with additional shifts as needed to maintain seamless pharmacy coverage

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia pharmacist license (VA License)
• Some experience in hospital pharmacy preferred
• Proficiency in data order entry and verification
• Experience with automated dispensing machines
• Strong communication skills critical for interdisciplinary collaboration

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
