Pharmacist - Golconda, NV

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist in Winnemucca, NV, with a flexible start date ASAP. This role offers a dynamic work schedule on-site, with shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Options include four 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, and the pharmacy manager, also a pharmacist, is open to collaborating on scheduling preferences. A blocked rotation schedule such as 7 days on/7 days off may also be considered.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, and assisting with pharmacokinetics. The pharmacist will work closely with the manager as backup support to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and patient safety.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Nevada pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and medication management
• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the pharmacy team
