Pharmacist - Golden Valley, Arizona

This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services within an inpatient setting at a 250-bed regional medical center. The role involves working variable shifts and supports key pharmacy operations that ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily tasks and workflow
• Participate in pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosage adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Pharmacist license is required
• Prior experience working in a hospital or inpatient pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and pharmacokinetics
• Ability to manage and supervise pharmacy staff effectively
• Familiarity with Meditech and Pyxis systems preferred
