Pharmacist - Gonzales, Louisiana

This opportunity offers a role for a licensed pharmacist to support specialty pharmacy medication therapy management (MTM) in an onsite production environment. The position involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 13-week initial contract plus potential extension or direct hire.

Location: Gonzales, Louisiana (onsite, not remote)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy services within a specialty pharmacy setting focusing on medication therapy management
• Ensure accurate dispensing and processing of specialty medications
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support patient adherence and outcomes
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Support production pharmacy operations onsite in Baton Rouge

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Louisiana pharmacist license required
• Licensure in at least one additional state from the following list is preferred, with willingness to reciprocate licensing: Alaska, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming
• Retail and specialty pharmacy experience essential
• Strong understanding of MTM service provision and specialty medication handling
