Pharmacist in Gorham, NH

A hospital-based inpatient pharmacist opportunity is available in Berlin, NH, supporting critical care units including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency Department. This contract role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 40 hours per week, with rotating weekend shifts approximately every third weekend. Weekend shifts are shorter, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Location: Berlin, NH
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00/7:30 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM
• Rotating weekends every third weekend, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy care across inpatient units including ICU, L&D, M/S, and ED
• Use Meditech for medication management and documentation
• Utilize Omnicell systems for medication dispensing and control
• Work independently during weekend shifts, ensuring seamless pharmacy operations
• Collaborate closely with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective medication use

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Meditech critical for success in this role
• Familiarity with Omnicell is advantageous
• Ability to work independently, especially during weekend coverage
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
