A well-established independent community pharmacy in Ogallala, Nebraska is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join their team on a 13-week travel assignment. Location: Ogallala, Nebraska
Type: Travel
Shift: 1st (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday; some weekends as needed)
Team Environment: Two pharmacists on weekdays, three on Sundays, supported by five skilled technicians
Technology: Liberty Rx dispensing software
Prescription Volume: Over 10,000 prescriptions per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and ensure safe medication delivery under managerial supervision
• Counsel and educate patients on their medications and proper regimens
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly in compliance with organizational policies
• Maintain accurate stock and controlled substances inventories and records
• Resolve patient issues and clarify insurance coverage questions
• Administer immunizations to eligible patients

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, clear pharmacist license in Nebraska
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience required; prior retail experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative pharmacy team
