Travel Pharmacist - Grant, Nebraska

A well-established independent community pharmacy is seeking a full-time pharmacist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Ogallala, Nebraska. Schedule:

• 1st shift
• Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
• Some weekends as needed

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications safely and efficiently under the supervision of the pharmacy manager
• Counsel and advise patients regarding their medications and proper usage
• Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally
• Maintain accurate stock and controlled substance records and inventories
• Resolve patient issues, including clarifying insurance and third-party coverage
• Administer immunizations to patients as needed

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Nebraska pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Liberty Rx software is a plus

This pharmacy is currently experiencing increased prescription volume due to local pharmacy closures and is preparing to expand with a second location. The incoming pharmacist will play a key role in supporting the current staff and potentially helping with the transition to the new site.
