This contract opportunity is for a Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services at a main campus and multiple satellite clinics serving a culturally diverse community. The role demands dedication to maintaining consistent, high-quality patient care in accordance with established healthcare policies.

Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care to a wide range of populations including neo-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients. The position requires working rotational shifts covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. There is a clear pathway for career advancement from Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist, involving greater clinical responsibilities, oversight of specialized pharmacy clinics, policy administration, and program development that aligns with organizational mission and quality standards. The Advanced Practice Pharmacist II additionally holds clinic management duties, providing supervision to pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers.

Location: Gray Mountain, AZ

Key qualifications and experience required:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education
  • Valid and unrestricted pharmacy license in any U.S. state, territory, or District of Columbia
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist
  • Minimum 1 year clinical pharmacist experience
  • Ability to clear fingerprinting prior to start

Additional details:

  • Experience with Allscripts EMR preferred
  • Service environment includes inpatient, outpatient, emergency, surgical, dental, ophthalmology, and specialty medical services in a referral health care setting covering a large geographic and culturally diverse area
