Pharmacist in Gray Mountain, AZ

Provide expert pharmacy and medication management services in a dynamic healthcare setting serving a diverse patient population across a broad geographic area. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment starting ASAP, with opportunities to work both at the main campus and satellite clinics. Experience diverse clinical practice environments including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive pharmacy services aligned with organizational policies and standards.
• Provide direct patient care and medication management in inpatient and outpatient settings utilizing Allscripts EMR.
• Rotate through day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts to meet clinical demands.
• Advance professionally through tiered Pharmacist roles toward Advanced Practice Pharmacist positions involving clinical pharmacy services and program development.
• Manage specialized pharmacy clinics, oversee clinical services quality, and administer policies and procedures.
• Serve as Clinic Manager of Operations at designated sites, supervising pharmacy staff including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, assistants, and billers.

Desired Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-recognized institution.
• Current, unrestricted U.S. state or territory pharmacist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist.
• At least one year of clinical pharmacist experience.
• Ability to pass fingerprinting clearance prior to start.

• Gray Mountain, AZ area, serving the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities within a culturally rich and diverse environment.

This contract position provides meaningful clinical exposure in a multidisciplinary facility accredited for quality care. Shift flexibility is required to support continuous patient services.
