Pharmacist in Gray Mountain, AZ

An experienced pharmacist is needed to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services at a main campus and multiple satellite clinics. This role involves direct patient care for diverse populations including neo-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients. The position requires working a 7-on/7-off rotation, covering shifts Wednesday through Tuesday, with weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM and weekend hours from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist who holds a current, unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory and is interested in gaining Indian Health Service (IHS) experience while traveling. No specific state license for Arizona is needed. The role offers career advancement through tier levels, starting from Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist I and II, with responsibilities expanding to specialized clinics, clinical services development, and operational management of pharmacy staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services in compliance with organizational policies.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services for both inpatient and outpatient departments.
• Manage specialized pharmacy clinics, including ongoing analysis and program development to optimize patient care.
• Oversee and provide supervision to pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers.
• Serve as Clinic Manager of Operations, directing pharmacy programs in alignment with mission and values.
• Work rotational shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education.
• Current valid and unrestricted pharmacist license from any U.S. State, Territory, or District of Columbia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist.
• At least one year experience as a Clinical Pharmacist.
• Successful fingerprint clearance prior to start.
