Pharmacist | Green Valley, Arizona

A contract opportunity is available for two full-time night pharmacists at a 200-bed hospital located in Tucson, Arizona. This role requires collaboration with the medical team to ensure safe and effective medication use while providing education and maintaining medication safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians on drug selection and dosing
• Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding medications
• Participate in medication safety initiatives
• Review patient profiles and monitor for adverse drug reactions
• Prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements
• Maintain narcotic accountability throughout the shift

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time night shift
• 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday through Tuesday)
• Immediate start available
• Contract duration of 13 weeks, with a potential to transition to temp-to-hire

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license
• Experience in hospital pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication safety
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
