Pharmacist in Green Valley, AZ

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with physicians to ensure appropriate drug selection and dosing
• Educating nursing staff, patients, and physicians on medication use and safety
• Leading and participating in medication safety initiatives
• Reviewing patient profiles to monitor medication therapy and avoid adverse drug reactions
• Preparing IV admixtures, nutritional supplements, and maintaining narcotic accountability

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with experience in hospital pharmacy practice
• Strong knowledge of drug therapies and medication safety protocols
• Effective communication skills to educate and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Ability to handle IV admixtures and ensure compliance with narcotic regulations
• Proactive attitude toward patient care and adverse drug reaction reporting

Shift and Location:

• 2nd shift (days/afternoons) in Tucson, AZ
• Contract position lasting approximately 13 weeks with potential to extend (Travelers and those willing to relocate are encouraged to apply)
