Pharmacist - Green Valley, Arizona

A thriving 200-bed hospital in Tucson, AZ, is seeking experienced pharmacists to support patient care by managing medication therapies across all shifts, including days, afternoons, and nights. Preference is given to candidates able to commit to a 7-on, 7-off night shift schedule, providing continuity and excellence in pharmaceutical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with physicians on drug selection and dosing decisions to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians on medication use, safety, and best practices.
• Lead medication safety initiatives, including monitoring patient profiles and preventing adverse drug reactions.
• Prepare intravenous admixtures and nutritional supplements with precision and strict adherence to protocols.
• Maintain narcotic accountability and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid pharmacist licensure with relevant hospital pharmacy experience.
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacology, medication safety, and hospital pharmacy operations.
