A compounding pharmacist opportunity is available in Greensboro, NC, offering a contract-to-hire position. This role involves working a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and every third Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. The average prescription volume includes 78 compounded prescriptions daily, utilizing PK pharmacy software (training provided).

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to tailor pharmaceutical care to individual patient needs.
• Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions, covering sterile and non-sterile medications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to patients to promote optimal health outcomes.
• Assist in training and supervising pharmacy technician staff.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in North Carolina.
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience; new graduates with a strong interest in compounding are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards.
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing.
