Pharmacist in Greensboro, NC

This position invites a licensed pharmacist to deliver expert pharmaceutical care in a specialized compounding setting. Operating Monday through Friday with a 40-hour workweek, including every third Saturday, the role demands precision, collaboration, and a passion for patient-centered healthcare.

Schedule and Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every third Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 30-minute lunch break daily

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense both sterile and non-sterile compounded prescriptions, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to tailor medication plans that suit individual patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory efficiently.
• Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to enhance patient health outcomes.
• Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy technician staff.
• Utilize pharmacy software (PK, similar to QS1) with provided training.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina.
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; passionate new graduates with compounding interest are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards.
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing.
