Compounding Pharmacist in Greensboro, NC

Responsibilities

·       Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to most effectively meet individual patient needs.

·       Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions, including sterile and non-sterile medications.

.       Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory.

·       Provide expert pharmaceutical care and advice to patients to ensure optimum health outcomes.

·       Assist in training and supervision of technician staff.

Work Hours

·       Day shifts.

·       9:00 am – 7:00 pm and every third Saturday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

·       30-minute lunch breaks.

Experience

·       1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience.

Education

·       Open to new grads who have a passion for compounding.

Other Qualifications

·       Current and valid North Carolina Pharmacist License.

-       Familiarity with USP 795, 797, and 800 standards for compounding.

-       Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing.
