Located in Greenwood, IN, this opportunity is designed for a qualified pharmacist eager to deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care within a closed-door mail order environment. The role offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional Saturdays based on operational needs. This temp-to-hire position spans at least 13 weeks, providing a pathway to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense medications in accordance with prescription orders
  • Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
  • Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate therapy
  • Monitor drug regimens for contraindications, interactions, and duplications
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and medication adherence
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medication histories and allergy information
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Manage medication storage, including monitoring for expired or damaged stock
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with inventory control, ordering, and pharmaceutical supply management
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and pharmacy practice updates

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • PharmD degree
  • Indiana Pharmacy License required
  • California Pharmacy License preferred or willingness to reciprocate, with client support for costs
  • 1 to 3 years of retail pharmacy experience
  • Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 5%
