This opportunity offers a dynamic role as a Staff Pharmacist within a closed-door mail order environment, focused on delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care and ensuring strict compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This temp-to-hire position is based in Greenwood, IN, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and occasional Saturdays as needed. The assignment is expected to last 13 weeks or longer, with potential for permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in accordance with prescription orders.
• Provide thorough medication counseling covering proper use, side effects, and potential interactions.
• Review physician orders to confirm accuracy and appropriateness of medications.
• Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, and duplications.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes and adherence.
• Maintain detailed patient records including medication histories and allergies.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• PharmD degree is required.

• 1 to 3 years of retail pharmacy experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.
