Pharmacist | Greenwood, Indiana

This opportunity as a Staff Pharmacist offers a dynamic role in a closed-door mail order pharmacy environment. Situated in Greenwood, IN, this part-time position provides the chance to work 1st or 2nd shifts (8am - 9pm), Monday through Friday, with possible Saturdays as needed. This role is temp-to-direct hire with an initial commitment of 13 weeks plus.

Responsibilities include accurately dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper use and potential side effects, and reviewing physician orders to ensure appropriate therapy. You will monitor drug regimens for contraindications and collaborate closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and adherence. Maintaining meticulous patient records and complying with all legal and regulatory standards is essential. Additional duties involve quality assurance participation, managing inventory, and delivering outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

• PharmD degree required
• Indiana Pharmacy License
• California Pharmacy License preferred, or willingness to reciprocate (support provided for reciprocity costs)
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of retail pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
• Willingness to travel up to 5%
