Pharmacist in Grover Beach, CA

Seeking experienced pharmacists for travel assignments on the CA Central Coast, supporting a well-regarded healthcare facility. We have four openings—two for day shifts and two for night shifts—to provide critical pharmacy services within the inpatient setting.

Location:

• San Luis Obispo, CA (Central Coast region)

Schedule:

• Day Shifts: Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
• Night Shifts: 7 days on / 7 days off rotation (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)

Contract Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks with an ASAP start
• Contract position ideal for pharmacists open to short-term travel assignments

Responsibilities:

• Verify physician orders with accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring workflow efficiency
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy
• Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and adjustments
• Utilize technology including Cerner and Omnicell systems to manage medication distribution and record keeping

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1+ years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during assigned shifts
